About the Club
Who we are and how we started
Welcome to Write Here Write Now! Founded on May 31st, 2025, we are a community of writers connected by a passion for writing. Here, writers can explore each other's unique writing, inspiring people with the perspectives and styles of all different types of authors. Our mission is to create a tight-knit community of writers who inspire and encourage each other. We strive to give writers an accessible and effective way to build connections and gain writing experience, whether that's with other writers in their area, or even writing competitions. Within our writing careers, we've been mostly limited to our school's writing classes. Here, we meet writers that we never knew and are encouraged to write simply for the joy of it. Here, all writers feel comfortable and welcome.

Each club has several sections dedicated to announcements, voting, and chatting.
Members get to interact with other author's writing using built-in commenting features. We make sure that writers are not allowed to interact with the writing of other members. Get inspiration from other writers! All writers share the same weekly prompt. Feeling unmotivated? See what other writers said for this prompt!
Every week, writers receive a prompt. It can be either a written prompt (usually 1-3 sentences) or a photo. Members, inspired by the prompt, create their own submission within a week's worth of time. Once finished, writers mark themselves off for writing and read the submissions of other members.
At the end of the week, voting opens. Each member gets to vote for the top three submissions they've read. Whoever receives the most points from voting becomes a winner!
Membership and joining details.
We invite all high school writers to join Write Here Write Now! Whether you are a poet who enjoys writing rhyming verses to each prompt, or a prolific writer whose responses are detailed and verbose, you are welcome Here! Upon joining a club, you may see your school's name in the dropdown. If so, joining that school will put you in a waitlist, where moderators of your school will confirm your name, email, and profile. If you do not see your school's name in the dropdown, then congratulations, you are your school's first Write Here Write Now member! Reach out to us at writeherewritenow.club@gmail.com, so we can create a space for your school
Meet the people behind the club.
A club that started with a fork has turned into a transcontinental sensation. Sabine is an incoming junior who, upon losing motivation to write, has made a whole club to help hold them accountable for reaching their writing goals. They are proud to say that, upon joining this club, their average creative writing per month has gone from 0 to 4 pieces of writing. Sophia doesn't really know what to write for this. She'd like to say that she is a representative at 8680 Kraken Pinion, but she can't, so she doesn't have anything else to say.
